Joseph Schoenberger has roots in the region now known as Hessen, Germany.
Joseph was born in 1869 in the Volga German colony of Liebental, Russia[1]. He was the son of Josef Schoenberger and Elizabeth Schaeffer He served as the Sheriff of Rush Co. KS from 1909-1913. He passed away in 1955.[2]
