The 1850 U.S. Census recorded Francis Schoonover, age 17, female, in Union Township, Tioga County, Pennsylvania, in the household of 45-year-old farmer Peter Schoonover and his wife Lorany. Other children in the household were Briant (male), age 19 and a farmer; Ornin Schoonover, age 14; Delia, 10; and Emma A., 3.[1]
