Joseph Anderson "Jodie" Shults is the son of Francis Marion Shults and Levina (Wampler) Shults. Jodie married Mary Albertine Pewitt. Joseph spent most of his life in the Dry Fork community, as a farmer. He joined the Dry Fork Baptist Church on November 22, 1896, and was a Deacon there for many years. Joseph and Mary were the parents of twelve children. [1]

Joseph and Mary are buried in the Dry Fork Cemetery, in Salem, Dent County, Missouri. [2]
