Biography

Montgomery County, Kentucky tax lists 1801-1810 show Christian and Henry Shultz listed always together, with John's first appearance on the lists being in 1807. If he turned 21 that year, he would have been born 1785 or 1786.

John married Susannah Griffin, daughter of Gordon Griffin and Catherine Kissinger. Susannah was born about 1786.

John Schultz is found in the 1830 Census for Bath County, Kentucky with 2 males aged 5-10, 3 males aged 10-15; 2 males aged 15-20, one male aged 20-30 and one male aged 40-50; there was one female aged 5-10; one female aged 10-13; one female aged 20-30 and one female aged 40-50.[1]
