Biography

Daniel was a general practice physician. He served in the Pacific during WWII.

He played jazz clarinet. He worked his way through medical school playing the clarinet. (This is the same clarinet that his great-nephew Matt Cohen played from 3rd grade to 8th.) His brothers also played instruments.

Martin Schwartz: "Daniel was a very tolerant man because he had a crazy wife and a very strange relationship with his daughter...Margorie always embraced Daniel. It was quite clear, that there was a classic Electra complex. Margorie eventually married her step-father and wanted to kill her mother."

Daniel smoked all the time. He decided to stop smoking, but 6 years after he stopped smoking he developed lung cancer and he died.
