Biography

Adeline Paterson’s husband – possibly her second or third husband – was Garvin Schwartz [1].

Flavil (possibly “Flavie”) Garvin Schwartz (1892-1983) was born in Rich Hill, Missouri on August 26, 1892. His parents were George Schwartz and Barbara Kishner [6].

He served in the US military [2] and he was married several times [3][4]. At some point, he marries Adeline Paterson. Adeline dies in 1962 and he may have married again because his death record shows his spouses’ name as Edith Andrews.

Flavil Garvin dies in Long Beach, Los Angeles on July 15, 1983 [5][6]. At the time of his death, his marital status was “divorced.” He is buried in Valhalla Memorial Gardens in North Hollywood
