I was born in Berlin-Pankow, Germany. My father was born in Prussia (now Poland) and had to flea because of the war. Now I'm trying to find my ancestors since some family members got lost and are still unaccounted for.

Hi Katharina, I have a translation request. I have put two snips of the death record of one of my ancestors on his profile. I would appreciate it if you could translate for me. The profile is Dopke-13. thanks.
My name is Matty and I am a Greeter & Mentor at WikiTree. I was wondering if you would be able to help me in communicating with a German volunteer. I would be very grateful if you could so please contact me if you are available!
I would only need you translate the maxiumum of 5 message, which I would be able to post on his profile.
Katharina I will add you to the list on the Language Volunteers page. I saw your note & thanks for volunteering to help with German. The script is a challenge isn't it?

I'd like to contribute to the project and help some kind of global family tree. Of course I'd never use false data so this site will remain its positive status. I could also take part in the WikiTree Language Volunteers since my native language is German.
