James D Scott, son of John Scott and Letitia (McKendrick) Scott, was born in 1780 in North Carolina.[1][2]
He married Nancy Montague on 6 May 1803 in Rutherford County, North Carolina.[3]
James died on 27 Feb. 1844 or 1847 probably in Harrison County, Mississippi and was buried at Live Oak Cemetery, Pass Christian, Harrison County, Mississippi. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and a link to that of a child.[2]
