Nancy M Chastain was enumerated as wife at Bentonville, Benton County, Arkansas for the June 1, United States Census, 1880. She was noted as a housekeeper, born 1843 in Missouri and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self William Chastain, son William Chastain, daughter Roberta Chastain, son Charles Chastain and boarder Hodge.^[1]

Nancy M Chastain was enumerated as wife of the head of the household in Osage Township Bentonville town, Benton County, Arkansas for the June 9, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born February 1843 in Missouri. She had been married for twenty-six years and was the mother of two children of which both were still living. Also included in the household are head William B Chastain, son Charles S Chastain and son Benjamin G Chastain as seen in an image of the original census.^[2]

Nancy Chastain was enumerated as wife of the head of household at North Main, Bentonville, Ward 2, Benton County, Arkansas for the April 12, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1844 in Missouri and had been married thirty-six years. She was the mother of two children of which both were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household is head William Chastain.^[3]

Nancy Ann Scott Chastain is buried at Bentonville Cemetery in Bentonville, Benton County, Arkansas.^[4]
