Lady Elizabeth Scott was the daughter of Henry Scott, 3rd Duke of Buccleuch and Lady Elizabeth Montagu. She married Alexander Ramey-Home, 10th Earl of Home, son of Reverend Alexander Home, 9th Earl of Home and Abigail Brown Ramey, on 6 November 1798.
