On 5 Nov 1745 just after the death of his father, he sold his father's three tracts to James Scott (brother?): "Scotts Improvement" 390acres, "Scotts Close" 100 acres and "Burr" 100acres. The later being on the Bush River bought by his father in 1730. The former two being on the line of a tract called "Majors Choice" purchased by his father on 13 Jul 1731. All total of 590acres.[3]
