Biography
From the Yates Center News (Yates Center, Kansas), 27 September 1889:
- Died—In Eminence township, Saturday, Sept. 21, 1889, of consumption, Elijah Scott, aged 21 years.
- The deceased was a brother of Johnathan Scott, of Rose, Kansas, and Mrs. Lee Robbins. He had been in poor health all summer. The remains were buried in the Kalida cemetery Sunday afternoon and the services were attended by a large number of sympathizing friends.
