Biography

Sir Patrick Scott, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir John Scott, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Scott^[1][2]

He married firstly, Anne, daughter of WIlliam Wallace, of Helington.^[1] on14 Oct 1675^[3] She d.s.p.s.^[1]

2. Anna, c. 19 Jan 1678^[5]

He married Margaret Scott, daughter of Sir William Scott and Christian Boyd, ^[1][6] on 24 November 1680. They had three sons and four daughters:

1. John, 3rd Bt. d. 21 Feb 1746, ^[6] m. Christian Nisbet, daughter of William Dairstoune Nisbet on 4 Apr 1714^[7]
2. William, advocate, d.s.p.^[6]
3. Patrick, b. 19 Feb 1700^[8][9]

He died in 1734.^[1][6]
