Maud was born in 1899. She was the daughter of Alfred Scott and Sarah Appleton. Their family lived in Preston, Lancashire[1] and Headley, Lindford Liphook, Hampshire, England.[2] She married Rayleigh E Swan in 1917.[3] They moved to Canada and lived in Cornwall, Ontario.[4] She passed away in 1983.[5]
