Biography

Cecil Edgar Scott enlisted at 18 years of age in the Canadian Infantry during World War I in 1916. He fought as part of the 160th Batallion, "D" Company, then the 14th Batallion (Quebec Regiment). He was killed in action in the Battle of Amiens in France.

He died on the first day of an Allied battle on the Western Front which became known as the Hundred Days Offensive and is believed to have ultimately led to an Allied Forces victory.

Burial Crouy British Cemetery, Crouy-sur-Somme, Somme, France.
