Daniel Wentworth SCOTT, Jr. married secondly on 09 Mar 1821 in Surry County, North Carolina to Elizabeth FLYNN or FLINN [4][5][6] (1805-1856) and they had eight children together.
Daniel is said to have moved "to the western states" and his second wife Elizabeth, died in 1856.
Daniel Wentworth SCOTT, Jr. married thirdly about 1860 to an Elizabeth (of unknown maiden surname).
He died between the June 1860 census and his August 1860 estate probate. [7] He was buried at Pennsboro Cemetery in Pennsboro, Dade County, Missouri, USA. [8]

The family moved to Morgan Co Illinois in 1830 where son James Richard was born in 1836. In 1837 the family went to Dade Co MO, the move taking five months "by oxen-drawn wagon" .
