When Brown Benjamin Scott was born on 17 February 1889, in Concord, Hampshire, West Virginia, United States, his parents were George Scott and Mary Waddle.[1]
In 1900 and 1910, Brown lived with his father and step-mother and their children and other relatives in Plymouth, Mercer, West Virginia, United States.[2][3]
He married Hattie Jane Pettrey on 14 August 1911, in Sullivan, Tennessee, United States.[4]
In 1920, Brown and Hattie lived in Mercer, West Virginia, United States with their two (2) daughters.[6]
By 1930, they were living in Nuttalburg, Fayette, West Virginia, United States.[7]
In 1940, they are back living in Plymouth Magisterial District, Mercer, West Virginia, United States.[8]
In 1950, Brown owned his own grocery store and lived in Big Lick, Roanoke, Virginia, United States with his wife, daughhter and grand-daughter.[9]
He died on 22 January 1957, in Roanoke, Virginia, United States, at the age of 67,[10] and was buried in Evergreen Burial Park, Roanoke, Virginia, United States.[11]
