Biography

Martha was born 28 April 1716 in St Peters, New Kent, Virginia, British America to Col. John Scott and Judith Dudley Scott. She married John Garrett IV around 1730 in New Kent County, Colony of Virginia. They had 5 children, Elizabeth Frances, Lucy, George, John, Martha Frances (Patsy). Her will was dated August 7, 1793 and probated August 25, 1794 in Cumberland County Virginia.
