Marriage

Samuel Scott is said to have married a Jane Roberts 1731 in Manakintown, Virginia. The only references given to support this are unsourced family trees. The marriage to Jane Roberts is questionable. There is no source to support this marriage to date. No source to support Jane's LNAB, birth or death has bern found. Her death place is given as Pennsylvania (state) however there is no evidence to support that and Samuel's census record placing him in Pittsylvania county, Virginia and his Virginia death place raise questions.

Samuel is also indicated as being married to a Jane McAdow however there is no evidence to support this.

There is no evidence to support a LNAB of Roberts or McAdow for Jane. Evidence of her surname and even proof of her existance has not been found.
