Biography

Jean, daughter of William Scott and Ann Jurie was christened in Glasgow, April 24 1807.

She married Richard McIsaac in 1827 at Glasgow. [1]

Two of her children, William and Agnes died in their infancy.

Jean and Richard emigrated to New Zealand and arrived at Nelson on the ship 'Clifford' in 1842. Four of their children made the voyage with them, Robert 13, Richard 10, Jean 8 and Ann just 6 weeks old. [2]

Jean McIsaac died in 1848, age 41 and is buried at Hallowell Cemetery, Nelson. [3]
