Biography

Almira was born and raised in Dereham Township, Oxford County.^[1] Almira was staying at a hotel with her mother and her brother Simpson in 1871.^[2] In 1889, Almira received $100 from her mother's will.^[3]

Almira was diabetic. She slipped into a diabetic coma and died on June 13, 1924. Her son, Jack Rutherford, was informant at her death.^[4] Almira Scott Rutherford is buried with her husband in New Delmer Cemetery, Delmer, Oxford, Ontario.^[5]
