Research Notes

Even thought findagrave manager has no sources for the information we will put what they have and RESEARCH it further to find proof, place of birth: 1740 instead of 1749" "Petersburg, Petersburg City, Virginia" and removed "Dinwiddie, Dinwiddie, Virginia" and the middle name Robert.

THERE IS a "Sarah Funderburk" LINKED as a daughter but the Will does not name a daughter Sarah, there is a Susan, and I do not believe Sarah is a nickname for Susan??
It is 136 miles straight NORTH from Dinwiddie to Fauquier County..........

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with William by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with William:

Scott-25718 and Scott-6094 appear to represent the same person because: Hi, they look like the same person to me. But if you could let me know? looks like Ann Mason-6365 married 2 William Scotts... Thank you Carole
