DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Alexander by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.

The New Jersey Abstract of Wills, 1670-1817 appears to show that the date of Alexander Scott's will was 8 Jul 1700. It does not show it was the date of his death, which appears to have occurred later. I will post the will abstract and adjust some dates.
