Biography

John Theron Scott was born on April 30, 1893, in Terre Haute, Vigo, Indiana, to George Addison Scott and Jennie (Bell) Scott.[1][2] He had blue eyes and light hair, and was of medium height and build.[3]

In 1900, he was living with his parents, a brother, and many lodgers in Harrison, Vigo, Indiana.[4] In 1910, they with an additional brother and Jennie's mother, Rebecca, were living in Terre Haute Ward 5, Vigo, Indiana.[5] They were still living there, with either his wife or sister-in-law, in 1920.[6]

At the time of the WWII draft, he was working for River Dale Products Co in Calumet City, Lake, Illinois.[7]

He died in February 1984; at this time, his last residence was in the U.S. Consulate in Nice, France.[8]
