The imported GEDCOM listed a family with 11 children. There are no siblings and 8 children listed for Samuel. The original import numbers can be viewed by looking at changes to the profile.
Samuel and his wife Mary had 6 children.[7] Erastus Scranton does not list a death date for Samuel. Mary died 22 May 1798. (There have been other cases where the dates from the Scranton book for the wife have erroneously used for the husband, which brings into question the death date for Samuel from the grave entry.)
There is no gravestone for Samuel Scranton II buried in West Side Cemetery, Guilford. This entry has Mary Fitch as his wife. According to Eratus Scranton, he was married to Mary Fitch.
