Biography
William was baptised on 12 March 1780 in Duntisbourne Rouse by parents Francis and Mary. [1]
On 19 April 1803 William Scriven and Sarah Newman married in Duntisbourne Rouse. [2]
In 1818 William Scrivens of Duntisbourne Rouse, widower and widow Maria Blowing married in Brimpsfield. Final Banns were read on 25 October. [3]
In 1841 William and Maria were living in Baunton with 8 children. William, who was 20 years older than Maria was an Agricultural Labourer. Harriet Scriven, also an Ag Lab, lived next door with her 2 children. [4]
William died aged about 69 in 1843 and was buried in Baunton on 25 March. [5]
