Biography

Milo David Scriven was born on March 13, 1856 in El Paso, Woodford, Illinois, USA. He grew up on a farm owned by his parents Alpheus and Driscilla Scriven. He was also a farmer.

Married to Florence Drucilla 'Flora' Bortner(1855-1897) on Nov, 29, 1879 in Edgar, Clay, Nebraska, USA

In 1880 He and Florence lived in Stanton, Illinois with Betsie, Milo's Stepdaughter.

Children: Gertrude Anna (1880-1982) Ira Hugh (1883-1949) Dewitt Talmadge (1886-1977) Freda Hazel (1892-1973)

Florence died Sep 8, 1897 in Geneva, Fillmore, Nebraska, USA

In 1900 at age 44 he lived in Eureka, Nebraska with his sons Ira, 16, and Dewitt, 14, and housekeeper Clara Moss, 18.

He married Debrah Stewart (1870-1913) on Oct 21, 1901 in Fairbury, Jefferson, Nebraska, USA

In 1910 he lived in Fairfield, Nebraska with his wife Debrah.

I noticed you don't have any wives down yet. Maybe you just haven't had time yet. If you don't know who some of them are, a good place to start is Family Search, the Morman database (and it's free!) That's what I started with. Start below where it says "Research," and click on the link. Find-a-Grave is also free and useful one to start with too. Ancestry.com will give you a ton of sources and info for your bios, but you pay, so maybe wait on that for the time being.

And try to add sources. When I first started, I usually didn't add them--only to find out later that there were things I wanted to recheck, and I couldn't remember where I got them!
