Jarvis was born 22 November 1818. [1] The 1860 and 1870 censuses give birthplace as Alabama, but in the 1850, 1880 and 1900 censuses his birthplace was recorded as Georgia.
In the 1850 census Jarvis is living in the household of "Sibby Wilson," whose daughter is Drucilla, age 20. The census date appears to be "21 Dec 1850" but Drucilla is shown with the Wilson surname.
His marriage to Drucilla Wilson is recorded in the Greene County Marriage records on 24 Nov 1850 (marriage license 23 Nov 1850), performed by Geo. H Sheldon, JP[2]
Death
Jarvis Seale died 17 Mar 1902 and is buried in the Macedonia Cemetery, Hale County, Alabama.[1]
