Biography

When Benajah B. Seale was born on July 27, 1818, in Georgia, his father, John, was 21 and his mother, Elizabeth, was 20. He married Elmira E. Gardner in 1849 in Lowndes, Mississippi. They had three children in 11 years. He died on May 30, 1890, in Sumter, Florida, at the age of 71.
