I am removing William Seal, Jr. and Elizabeth (Hawker) Seal as the parents of this John Seals. We're confident that William Seal, Jr.'s son John was born in 1813, not 1800, and that he married Sarah Rhea in 1838 in Claiborne Co., Tenn. This John Seal may have been born to a son of Zachariah Seal, the much older brother of William Seal, Jr. There was some confusion about William Seal, Jr. being the son of Zachariah Seal, and that is just not the case. They were brothers. If anyone has a different opinion, let me know.
