George Alonzo Seaman was born on June 23, 1876, in Maysville, Mason, Kentucky, to Alonzo Thomas Seaman and Serilda Belle Morford.

George married Dora May Hickman on July 1, 1899, in Guthrie, Logan, Oklahoma. In attendance were Mrs. May E. Hickman and Mrs. Belle Seaman. Listed as witnesses are A. (or G.) S. Seaman and Leslie Seaman. The bride was 18; the groom was 23.

The 1900 U.S. Census for Noble Township (west part) Noble Town, Cleveland, Oklahoma Territory, shows George A. Seaman as the 24-year-old head of household. He is white and married less than a year. He was born in Kentucky. Also listed is his wife, Dora M. Seaman, age 20, born in Kansas; Muriel Seaman, daughter, an infant, born in Oklahoma.

The 1910 U.S. Census for Willow Bar, Cimarron, Oklahoma, finds George A. Seaman as the 33-year-old head of household. He is white, married, born in Kentucky about 1877. His father was born in PA; his mother was born in KY. Also listed are: Mrs. Dora M. Seaman, wife, age 28, born in KS; Muriel B. Seaman, daughter, age 10; Russel V. Seaman, son, age 8; Jennie M. Seaman, daughter, age 5; Loretta Seaman, daughter, age 1. All the children were born in Oklahoma.

On September 12, 1918, George A. Seaman registered for the draft in WWI. His address is listed as 818 (?) N. 8th Street, Guthrie, Logan, OK. He is 42 years old, born on June 23, 1876. George Alonzo Seaman died on April 5, 1934, in Edmond, Oklahoma, Oklahoma. He is buried in Summit View Cemetery, Guthrie, Logan, Oklahoma, with his wife, Dora.
