Daisy was my grandmother. She had her hands full with 5 boys but was always ready with a meal. I remember her "squirrel stew" - the best ever! She had several Siamese cats and maintained a greenhouse with flowers such as African violets. As late as the 1960's she would still cook on a wood stove, even though she also had an electric stove. I still have the patchwork quilt she made for me then. God bless you, Grandma Daisy. Thank you for raising "Pee Wee" to be a good man.
