There's a James Searls, born 12 Feb 1675 in Northampton, Hampshire, Mass. in Find A Grave. The double dating explains the year difference, however there is also a difference for month of death. His gravestone and the information in the memorial say he died 05 November 1728 (not May) in Northampton. His memorial ID is 14432183. I think this is the same person.

I have been trying to determine if James Searls and his wife Mary Mansfield are the parents of my ancestor Isaac Salls/Searls (1723-1800). My Isaac had connections to Salisbury Connecticut, Long Island, Livingston NY (Canaan), and Clarenceville, Missisquoi, Quebec, Canada. I do not have evidence that he ever lived in Northampton, Mass. and I also do not have any records of him in his childhood. If anyone is able to help me with this, let me know!
