Norman T. Searls, 79, of Moravia, R.D. 3, died Wednesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Howard (Leona) Mosher in Randleman, N.C. Born in Sempronius, Searls had retired as an employee of the Brockway Corp. or Cortland. Surviving are: four daughters, Mrs. Theodore (Ella) Thilburg of Cortland, Mrs. John (Virginia) Beal of Cayuga, Mrs. Kenneth (Helen) Bickham of Cortland and Mrs. Mosher; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Florence) Signor of Homer; two brothers, Nelson of Homer and Alton B. of Locke; 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Wade Funeral Home in Moravia. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery, Dresserville. Calling hours will be from7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, 22 Church Street.
