Mahala Sears was born in 1840 or 1846. She was the daughter of William Sears and Eunice Hicks. She married Josiah Phinney on September 19, 1871.[1]
Following Josiah's death in 1890, Mahala remarried. She married Lemuel Tower on July 28, 1892.[2] Malaha died on December 20, 1926.[3] She was buried in the Midgic Cemetery, with her first husband, Josiah Phinney.[4]
