Chas was listed as "son" residing in the home of Susan Ruleau on the 1 Jul 1892 U.S. Indian Census Rolls taken at Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, White Clay District, Shannon, South Dakota. Chas died later that year; he was buried in Presbyterian Cemetery in Pine Ridge, Shannon, South Dakota.
