When citing sources try to give enough information that others can find that source regardless of the method used to find it or reference an image in the photo section. Where there is a known Wiki ID for a person named in this section try to provide a link to that person. List contributors, with links (if possible), in "Acknowledgments".
Using an asterisk before adding information will maintain the events in a bullet format. Double asterisks will indent related events. A colon (:) will indent text (such as in this “Note” section). Double colons will double indent text. The first time you use a citation, use <ref name="nametag"> Descriptive Text</ref> where "nametag" is what you want to use for the name of the tag & "Descriptive Text" is your source citation. From then on use <ref name="nametag"/> to cite that citation as many times as needed. This will automatically add to the "Source List".

Biography

Elizabeth Seaton was born 1780 in Virginia, USA to James W Seaton (1740 - 1830) and Fannie Bozzle (1740 - 1840). Note: I have not found definitive documentation as to her parents. If these are her parents, she had 7 siblings:
Moses B Seaton (1767 - 1859)
Benjamin Seaton (1768 - 1859)
John Seaton (1777 - 1826)
George Seaton Sr (1784 - 1863)
William Seaton (1786 - 1876)
Rachel Seaton (1788 - 1866)
Samuel Seaton (1794 - 1827)
The date of Elizabeth's passing varies from 1803 to 1874. I have found no documentation to support any date.

The Seatons of Greene, Tennessee are like fingerprints, everyone has an opinion and they are all different. Many researchers have James W Seaton married to Mary Samantha Herriott and/or Fannie Bozzle. I believe Mary Samantha Herriott is the one married to James Wesley Seaton on 13 Feb 1873 in Cass, Missouri, USA and is not his wife (which I think is Fannie Bozzle.
Elizabeth Seaton is another one of the elusive Seaton's. The only documentation that I have found is for her marriage to Elijah Wilhoit (variously spelled Wilhoit, Wilhoite, & Wilhite. Some have her mother as Fannie Bozzle (which I believe to be the case) and others as Mary Samantha Herriot (which I think is the spouse of James Wesley Seaton and not her mother).

However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Elizabeth:
