CYNTHIA CAMASI 1934-2014

Cynthia Grace Camasi, 80, passed, July 20, 2014 after a long illness. She was born April 24, 1934 in Poughkeepsie, New York, She worked various jobs, but what she loved most, was caring for others.

Cynthia requested others to call her "Grouch" but everyone knew she was far from that. She adored the outdoors and camping at Lake George, and annual trips to Reno. She loved playing bingo and was very talented with arts and crafts, belonging to a crochet group, the Happy Hookers. She enjoyed people watching at large events such as, Mardi Gras, the Vallejo Pirates' Festival and Gay Pride Parades, in San Francisco.

Cynthia is survived by her brother, Fredrick Seaver; daughters, Rebecca, Bessie, Rachel and Bernice; sons, Timothy and Bernard. She was predeceased by brothers, Leonard and Sam Seaver; daughters, Esther and Gertrude; and son, Roy Weygant.

Throughout her illness, Cynthia was an inspiration to others and loved by many. Please join a service to honor her joyous life, held Friday, July 25, 2014 at 11am in the Tulocay Chapel. Viewing will be Thursday, July 24 from 12-8pm. Memories and words of sympathy may be shared with the family on-line at www.tulocaycemetery.org.
