William M. Seawright was born on 2 Jun 1821 in Donalds, Abbeville, South Carolina, United States, son of John Seawright (1772 - 1850) and Jane (Richey) Seawright (1790 - 1872).

William (34) married Sarah Elizabeth Gaines (15) , daughter of James Martin Gaines and Jane Seawright, on 31 Jan 1856. Their son was Isaac Finis Seawright (1856 - 1922).

William died on 16 Jun 1903 in Donalds aged 82. He is buried in Greenville Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Shoals Junction, Greenwood County, South Carolina, USA.[1]
