Archange was born August 17, 1768 at Grand Marais (Grosse Pointe) , Michigan, Québec, daughter of Joseph Séguin dit Ladéroute and Marie Thérèse Tremblay .
Pierre Rivard, age 25, and Archange, age 20, were married on February 2, 1795 Ste-Anne-de-Detroit, Michigan, Québec. [1] [2]: Their marriage was blessed with 10 children all born in Detroit.
