He had thirteen siblings, namely: James W., Elizabeth Ann, Nancy, Irvin, Richard, John Andrew Sr, Sarah Ann, Noel Garvil, Hardy, Mary, Francis Marion Sr, Susan Acquilla, and Rosannah.
