Billie Jean "Genevieve" Sellers was born on Jan 04, 1931 in Pioneer, West Carroll, Louisiana, USA as the ninth child of Ervin Ansel Sellers and Annie Jane Robinson. ^[1] She had ten siblings, namely: Lavaughn, Lois Missouri, Ervin Ore, Montez, James Clinton, Birtrez, Ernest Francis, Olean Katherine, Barbara Jane, and Maxie Gerl Sr. She died on Jul 05, 2006 last residence in Jackson, Hinds, Mississippi, USA (Age at Death: 75).^[2]

Genevieve Keen was a native of Pioneer, LA., but had lived most of her life in Mississippi. She lived in the Jackson area for the last 60 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Byram.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Henry Clyde Keen. Mrs. Keen is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Cunningham of Jackson; sisters, Olean Byrne of Florence and Birtrez Nuskiewicz of Green Bay, WI; brother-in-law Raymond Keen (Sue) of Brandon; sister-in-laws, Mary Keen of Edmond, OK and Joann Sellers of White Oak; granddaughter, Alison Cunningham of Jackson, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be today July 7, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2006 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hederman Cancer Center at 1225 N State St. Jackson, MS 39202.
