Obituary for Charles M. Senseman

Charles M. Senseman, 73, died unexpectedly Wednesday March 18, 2015 in Detroit MI where he lived. He was the son of C. Maynard and Vivian Beyl Senseman. Charles is survived by his only brother Fred Senseman (Ann), Nephew Steven Senseman, niece Lyn Wynn and great niece and nephew Kasey and Jacob Wynn. Charles was raised in Fairborn OH and graduated from Fairborn High School in 1960. In 1964 he received a B.A. degree in Fine arts from The Ohio State University where he was a member of Delta Upsilon Fraternity. In 1966 he received his Masters degree from Cranbrook Academy of Fine Arts. From 1966 until 1969 he served in the U.S. Peace Corps in South America. Over 35 years his business career in retail store interior design and display management took him to Princeton NJ, Denver, Miami, Minneapolis, Des Moines and Detroit where he has lived for 27 years. Charles made friends everywhere he went and will be remembered for his sense of humor, zest for life, and his great generosity of his time and talent. He was a fine pianist and organist who delighted in playing for his neighbors, church members and charitable causes. Charles will be buried at Medway Cemetery on Lower Valley Pike west of downtown Medway OH. There will be a short committal service at 11:00 am Thursday March 26.
