Philip, born in 1822, was the son of Isaac and Mary Sewell.[1][2]
He married Sarah Woods in 1849.[3] They were recorded in the 1851 England and Wales Census living in Buxton, Norfolk, with Philip's uncle John Wright. Philip was working as an engineer.[4]
After Sarah's death, he married Charlotte Sole. In the Census of 1871, they were recorded living in Norfolk, where Philip worked as a civil engineer.[5]
