Biography

Carrie Sewell was born 4 April 1896 in Cobbtown, Tattnall County, Georgia, the daughter of John Joshua Sewell and Mary Alice Harrell Sewell McDaniel^[1].

She married Millard Fieldmore Collins.

She married Newton 'Bud Nathan' Melvin Cobb about 1926.

In 1940, she was widowed and lived in Cobbtown, Tattnall County, Georgia with her children Jewel, Burney, and Rose living at home^[2]

She died 4 March 1965 in Chatham County, Georgia^[3], and was buried in Sunlight Cemetery, Cobbtown, Tattnall County, Georgia^[1].
