From his Will we see that William Sewell was married to Alice and had had two sons, William & John and three daughters, Sarah, Elizabeth & Mary. He leaves a mill in Broughton Astley & 'Stanbury Mill'.
Broughton Astley Mill was a water mill. The next mill upstream was 'Stemborough Mill'. Maybe this was the same mill as Stanbury Mill mentioned in William's will.
The will asks for his estates to be left to his two sons William and John in trust.
A payment of £10 per year be paid to Alice if she is still living with them. If she decided to leave then she is to have a share of the furniture and £20.
£40 to William
Sarah to have the £5 he owes + interest for 30 years = £90
Elizabeth and Mary £65 each.
If necessary sell the tenant right to Stambury Mill (but hopes not) and fee simple of Broughton Astley Mill.
3/6/1785
An amendment 23/6/1785 states that an extra £40 goes to William and the £5 to Sarah is revoked as she had since married William Berridge and has been paid the £5 + £100 interest. Also reduces Elizabeth and Mary's payment to £45 each.
14/5/1793 Probate.

Note: William Sewell was born around 1718. He married Alice Kilpack in 1747 at Ashby Magna and they raised a family in Broughton Astley. William was a miller and worked Broughton Astley mill.
Broughton Astley parish records show us that the first sign of Sewell family is when William and Alice moved there and started having children baptised.
I believe that, as a miller, William would have moved to a place when a suitable mill became available. Where was he living before that? My research so far leads me to suspect that William was born in Uppingham and is the son of Thomas Sewell - also a miller. But I have not yet found a fact that proves this fully!.
