Susannah was born on 5 January 1852 in York, Western Australia.[1][2]
She married John Norris Taylor on 10 May 1876 at Beverley.[2]

Our Pingelly contemporary re cords the death of a highly-re spected resident of the district in the person of Mrs. Susanna Taylor, relict of the late Mr. J. Norris Taylor, the latter's father having formerly owned the well known Yangedine estate on the upper York-Beverley road. The deceased lady, who had reached the age of 67 years, was a daugh ter of the late John Sewell, also of this district.
The deceased leaves a family of four sons and two daughters—Messrs. J. B., H. J., H. N., and Lionel Taylor, and Mrs. H. Davis (Pingelly), and Mrs. Boucher (Melbourne).[3]

Employed 20 T/ L men on occasions 1858- 1883 including 4 shepherds, a herdsman, a roadworker & possibly 5 T/L men at Northampton 1858- 1872. [5]
