Elzany Caroline Sewell was born 2 Oct 1829 in Cumberland Co, KY to Nancy Hull and Jesse Sewell.^[1]

"Henry Bowe and Zaney Sewell" (Henry Bow and Elzaney Sewell), both born and resided in Cumberland Co., KY, were married 5 Dec 1854 in Cumberland Co., KY^[2]

She resided with her parents in 1850 in Cumberland Co., KY. Henry and Elzany resided in Fentress Co., TN in 1860, 1870 and 1880. They resided in Pickett Co., TN in 1900.^[3]

Elaney died in 1909 and is buried in Tompkins Cemetery, Byrdstown, Pickett County, TN. The tombstone says Elzaney Bow born Oct 2, 1829, departed this life Dec 30, 1909.
