Biography

Patrick Vincent Sexton was born September 8, 1872 in Washington Township, Warren County, New Jersey, the son of Martin Sexton and Bridget Davis. ^[1]

The 1880 U.S. Census lists Patrick at 8 years old living with his parents and two younger siblings Mary and James in Washington Township, Warren County, New Jersey. Patrick's father Martin was a night watchman for the railroad.^[2]

In 1900, the U.S. Census shows Patrick at 28 years of age living with his widowed mother on Washington Street in Washington Township, Warren County, New Jersey. ^[3]

The 1910 U.S. Census has Patrick at age 38 with his brother James living with their mother Bridget on Washington Street in Hoboken Ward 2, Hudson County, New Jersey.^[4]

In the 1920 U.S. Census, Patrick is shown with his wife Hannah, his 4 year old daughter Margaret, his mother and a younger brother James in Hoboken Ward 5, Hudson County, New Jersey.^[5]
