Biography
John Williams Mann's mother was born in either Ohio or Virginia. Wexford County ledger said one thing but looking at actual Death record of John W. Mann, it says his mother was Elizabeth Williams. His middle name is his mother's maiden name of Williams.

Carol (Mann) Van Sickle
Elizabeth would be my great grandmother. Her son John William(s) Mann was born 1849 in Ohio, putting her being born in the 1820 - 1830 range. I have her picture and that of William Mann, her husband but not much else. Grampa's death cert. says his mother was Elizabeth Shafer. Other records say his mother was Eliabeth Williams. Not sure what the real name is for her. Also, she was born in Virginia, but at one time Ohio was also part of Virginia so not sure of location.
